To my husband’s disapproval, I love rearranging the furniture in our house (frequently).

Where did this start?
With my dad. He is the ultimate DIYer. He is always working on a project. He installed wood floors in our house, finished the basement, built a wood deck, installed a sauna in the basement, and most recently completed a total kitchen makeover.
I’m not that cool (yet)…
but I can organize any home project to the smallest detail.
So what do I do on Home with Marika?
I create diy home project planners and checklists to help you start and finish your home projects.
While I unpack, organize and style our second home (we just moved), I’ll share the process and tips that have helped me. I create my project planners and checklists so that you can customize them to fit your own home. If you’re a paper lover like me, you can print off your checklists and use your favorite pen to cross the tasks off the list. If you prefer an online version, I have interactive capabilities on some of my PDFs so that you can save them and checkmark the document as you complete a task.
but what’s the point of planning?

Whenever you stick to a plan, you’re less likely to change your mind midway through the project which ends up costing you financially.

You save time when you plan all of your decisions and don’t have to go back and forth with indecisiveness.

You don’t have to worry about the timeline or the budget when you’ve already considered all of the factors.

When you and your partner have the same goal and agree on the process to get there, you won’t fight as much!
